Observation Tower Reopened at San Diego Historic Hotel
Paradise Point’s iconic observation tower is now open again after a lofty restoration – the first of its kind since the 70-foot tower originally opened in 1962. The project only took a few weeks, but it seemed a lot longer to eager guests and visitors waiting the renewal of this historic San Diego hotel landmark. The result was well worth the wait with 81 refurbished steps making for a more comfortable climb to the restored viewing deck. A fresh coat of paint and simplified metalwork has also refined the appearance of this guest favorite.
