A short drive north of Paradise Point is one of San Diego’s best beach neighborhoods – La Jolla! This hidden jewel is a sophisticated beach town with a dramatic coastline and amazing viewpoints, including Mt. Soledad. The seaside village offers more than just exclusive shopping and dining, and there are plenty of free things to do in La Jolla, including a quintessential San Diego day at the beach. It’s no surprise La Jolla was recently named one of the 15 best beaches by Fodor’s Travel for its shoreline perfectly suited for surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, and scuba diving.
