PARADISE POINT RESORT & SPA INTRODUCES NEW "ISLAND ORIGINS" SPA TREATMENT
44-Acre Tropical Island on San Diego's Mission Bay Provides Perfect Setting For Gathering Fresh, Hand-Picked Ingredients For New Spa Experience
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – August 20, 2013 – Taking guests beyond the treatment room and back to the roots of herbal healing, The Spa at Paradise Point is introducing “Island Origins”, a new two-hour spa experience which includes a guided botanical tour, 50-minute massage, foot scrub, and scalp treatment.
Island Origins begins with a private botanical tour of Paradise Point Resort & Spa's tropical 44-acre grounds, home to over 600 types of exotic foliage from more than 20 countries around the world. Guided by a spa professional, guests meander through lush gardens as they gather some of the island’s most remedial and rare specimens. Hand-picking ingredients along the way, guests discover their natural therapeutic properties while learning how the collected ingredients evolve into commonly used products like oils and exfoliants.
Following the tour, guests enjoy a quartet of hair and body services that utilize four of the island’s most powerful plants – ginger, hibiscus, tea tree and eucalyptus – in their end form.
The two hour treatment, which includes access to the resort pool, fitness studio, eucalyptus steam room, and sauna, is priced at $260.
The 7,050-square-foot Spa at Paradise Point offers eight treatment rooms, including a couple’s bungalow, a private garden courtyard and whirlpool, fitness studio, and a 900-square-foot salon for manicure and pedicure services.
