PARADISE POINT NAMED ONE OF THE TOP FIVE MEETING HOTELS IN THE WORLD
San Diego Tops List as Meetings Destination
Paradise Point, located on Mission Bay in San Diego, has won the coveted "Best Hotel Spaces" award from the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
The award, announced in PCMA’s August issue of Convene Magazine, was voted on by the magazine’s readers and editors. Among Paradise Point’s distinguished award recipients include the InterContinental San Francisco, The Peabody Orlando, Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, and the Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel.
With the San Diego Convention Center placing in the top five in the “Best Food & Beverage” category and the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau for “Best Technology Tools”, San Diego reinforces its reputation as a top meeting destination as no other domestic or international city won as many overall awards.
With over 62,000 square feet of flexible waterfront meeting space, Paradise Point offers unique meeting venues including bay view ballrooms, spacious decks, and tropical gardens and lawns. Each setting is distinctive and reminiscent of a tropical island paradise.
“Paradise Point’s idyllic 44-acre island just 10 minutes from San Diego airport, its abundance of unique teambuilding opportunities and space, and waterfront ballrooms give planners a setting for meetings that stimulate, refresh, and inspire attendees, even after they’ve headed home,” said David Hall, general manager of Paradise Point.
