Real San Diego Weddings: Ruby + Armando

In 2007, they met through mutual friends and bonded over a love of movies and beaches. Fast forward six months and one “paw-child” named Bella, they were heading off on a Hawaiian honeymoon after a perfect San Diego wedding at Paradise Point Resort & Spa. In this edition of “Real San Diego Weddings”, spend a Paradise Point wedding day alongside Ruby and Armando with a beautifully-shot video by NR3. But first, learn a little more about the bride and groom and their real San Diego wedding story. After all, you wouldn’t walk down the aisle with a perfect stranger, would you?

What is your favorite thing about your fiancé?

Bride: I love how Armando always makes me laugh!

Groom: I love Ruby’s personality and smile!

The moment we visited the resort, we knew we had found the place. It was the first time visiting Paradise Point, and we were taken back by the beauty of the resort and grounds.

My family and I were looking for somewhere nice to stay for my birthday weekend. We stumbled upon Paradise Point from as habit is I look for the hotel direct website. When I first found Paradise Points website I couldn’t believe my eyes in what I was seeing for the prices I saw on Travelocity. I googled as many images as I could and I thought I was looking at something tropical. It wasn’t until we drove up to the place and saw for our own eyes that it is possible to drive from Los Angeles to Hawaii. The lush gardens and exquisite lagoons and ponds bring the tropics to the mainland. We stayed for the weekend and could not get enough. I highly recommend, if visiting San Diego or live in San Diego and looking for a getaway; to make the effort to stay at Paradise Point you will not be disappointed.
