Our SeaWorld San Diego Water Taxi Sets Sail

Paradise Point has long been the closest hotel to SeaWorld San Diego, but this summer, we’re taking it one step further and putting you directly on the world-famous park’s doorstep.

Well, actually, we’re putting you at a VIP back entrance exclusively for resort guests (you don’t mind, do you?).  Our brand new SeaWorld water taxi is up and running for the summer, making at least 12 trips between our San Diego hotel and the theme park daily.  The taxi leaves from the Paradise Point marina roughly every half hour with tickets at $9 for adults and $5 for children.

Fast-forward a 10-minute picturesque ride across Mission Bay and you’ll already be inside SeaWorld, enjoying their new summer 2011 attractions like Turtle Reef, the new “One Ocean” Shamu show, and nightly fireworks.  Everyone else will still be waiting in line to pay for parking, hunting for a spot, hiking in to the entrance, and then waiting in line some more for their park tickets; not the best way to spend your precious San Diego vacation time.

So grab the family, hop aboard, and enjoy a truly scenic route to one of San Diego’s most popular attractions.  After all, it’s only fitting to travel to and from the country’s biggest maritime theme park by taking to the water yourself.

Take the only truly scenic route to SeaWorld.

Do they take credit card?

This resort was phenomenal! The property is green and lush with various tropical plants and water features. You will never know what kind of wildlife you may come across when you taking your morning walk. I loved that right outside my sliding door, I had the option of laying out on either my patio, grass or the sand. There are about 14-15 firepits on the beach that you must use during your stay. I was lucky to have one right in front of my pad. Trust me, you will use it even if you don't have children staying with you. My suite was the perfect size and tastefully decorated. And the bed! This bed was so comfortable I never want to get out . Even the room service menu was crazy good. The menu offers the widest selction of food choice that I have ever seen. If you are a red meat person, the Ribeye is obscenely delicous. The staff is only happy to get anything you may need and I love that they addressed me by name. Their only desire is to make sure your stay will be the best you have ever experienced at any resort or hotel. Paradise Point will be the only place I will stay when I am in town. I didn't want to leave!

Our water taxi experience was awesome. The water taxi driver was very engaging and made the trip special. It was nice not to have any lines and being able to start at the back of Seaworld where the attractions had no lines yet.
