If I had to summarize all my memories of Paradise Point in one word, it would be “Dad”.
The Ciccoianni family has been vacationing at Paradise Point since long before I was born. My parents, Louis & Katie Ciccoianni, started visiting the resort in the mid-70s when they had just 3 of their 8 children. As their family grew though the years, the island became more and more a part of our family and our memories. Each year we would look forward to the days we'd be able to spend playing on the bay, swimming in the many pools, riding bikes throughout the resort, climbing the tower and, my Dad's absolute favorite, feeding the ducks.
Prior to my father passing away, we all went to Paradise Point for a few days. Through the many hardships we faced with my father being sick, there was something about spending those days at Paradise Point that breathed joy into my Dad as he recalled the summers past, and as we created those lasting memories of his final trip.
Since his passing, all of us have continued to visit Paradise Point. Now that we are grown, we are making new memories with our own families and together as one big Ciccoianni family. It makes us all happy to spend time at Paradise Point and I know my father is looking down at us while there, and is smiling.
I thank the many staff who have helped us over the many years make our stay so incredibly special and for being such a huge part of each and every one of our memories and lives.
