Fun! Fun! Fun!
My husband and I just spent 5 days/4 nights at Paradise Point and had a wonderful, relaxing time. We stayed in a bayside lanaii and waking up to views of Mission Bay was amazing. The grounds of the resort are lush with tropical plants and trees, ducks, birds and ponds. Although the resort is almost 50 years old, the facilities and grounds are maintained impeccably.
We walked all over the resort and enjoyed every minute of it. It would be easy to spend your entire stay at the resort as they provide pretty much everything you need. We did go to Sea World via the water taxi to the private, back entrance and avoided the crush at the main entrance--very nice touch. We thought about going on the San Diego trolley tour, but we were enjoying walking the grounds, relaxing by the pool, and utilitizing the marina water sports too much. The Barefoot Bar & Grill sits right on the Marina and the food and service was really good! We ate our last dinner at the Baleen (anniversary dinner) and it was the perfect ending to a great week. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff of this resort. Happy, polite, always willing to go out of their way for you...it's obvious they all love their jobs. I will most certainly recommend this destination to my friends, and plan to return again in the future.
